Cascade

Trace a word across the grid, its letters vanish, and everything above tumbles down to fill the gap.

How to play

Cascade fuses a letter-grid word hunt with collapsing-block physics. Drag across touching tiles to spell a word of three or more letters; when you release a valid word, those tiles disappear and the columns above settle into the holes. The goal is to drain as many tiles as you can and clear the whole board.

• Connect tiles that are next to each other horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
• Words must be three letters or longer to count.
• Longer and rarer words score more, so hunt for big chains.
• Clearing the entire board earns a bonus; running out of playable words ends the run.

Controls

• Desktop: click and drag the mouse across adjacent tiles to build a word, then release to submit. Drag back onto the previous tile to undo a letter.
• Phone & tablet: touch and drag your finger across the tiles, then lift to submit — the same drag works on any touchscreen.

Game modes

• Daily: one fixed board everyone shares, with a streak counter for consecutive days.
• Practice: a fresh random board you can replay as often as you like.

Tips & strategy

• Clear from the bottom up — removing low tiles drops new letters into reach and opens fresh words.
• Save the rarer letters for when they sit beside vowels so you can build a high-scoring word instead of stranding them.
• Stuck? The hint button briefly flashes a playable word to keep the cascade going.
