Sudoku Saboteur

Some of the printed clues are lies — spot and flag the saboteur's traps or your grid will never resolve.

How to play

Fill the grid so every row, column, and box holds 1-9, but first root out the fake givens. You win only when the grid is solved and every trap is flagged.

• A few givens are saboteur traps that break the logic
• Flagging a clue removes it from the puzzle
• Use pencil notes to track candidates

Controls

• Desktop: keys 1-9 to fill, arrow keys to move, Backspace to clear, F or right-click to flag a trap
• Phone & tablet: on-screen number pad plus Fill, Notes, and Flag-Trap mode buttons

Game modes

• Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulties
• Daily seeded puzzle or Practice

Tips & strategy

• If a region can't be solved, suspect a fake clue and test-flag it
• Use notes to expose contradictions a trap creates
• Confirm the real givens before committing big chains of digits
