Sieve
Hit each target using only one repeated digit and arithmetic — and the fewer copies of that digit you use, the higher you score.
How to play
Every puzzle gives you a single digit. Build expressions that reach each target using only that digit plus the operators plus, minus, times, divide, power and parentheses (you can concatenate, like writing 55). Some tiers want an exact value; others want the right remainder modulo a number. Use fewer copies of the digit to score more.
- Write each target from copies of the one allowed digit and operators
- Exact tiers need the precise value; Mod tiers need the correct remainder
- Fewer digit copies earn a higher score against par
- Crack the prime-valued targets to unlock the next digit
Game modes
- Difficulty: Easy, Medium or Hard
- Daily: a fixed puzzle shared each day
- Practice: fresh randomized puzzles
Controls
- Desktop: tap the on-screen keypad or type the digit and operators, then press Enter to submit
- Phone & tablet: tap the keypad buttons to build each expression and tap Submit
Tips & strategy
- Powers and concatenation reach big targets with few digits — lean on them to beat par
- For modular tiers, you only need the right remainder, so a smaller, cheaper expression often suffices
What you'll learn

- Skills: arithmetic, number puzzles, logical reasoning
- Best for: roughly grades 4–10 (ages 9–16)
- For parents & teachers: single-digit arithmetic puzzles.
