How to play
In the fit phase, drag the trend line's ends or body through a cloud of points; red residual sticks and a live squared-error readout show how good your fit is. Lock it in, then drag a marker up or down the forecast column to bet where the next hidden point lands. The true point is revealed and scored, and a line that overfits the scatter forecasts worse.
Minimize the sum of squared errors (and watch the R-squared) to fit well.
An Auto-fit button drops in the least-squares line if you want to compare.
Your total combines a fit score and a forecast score.
Controls
Desktop: drag the line handles or body, click Auto-fit, then drag the forecast marker.
Phone & tablet: drag the line and marker with your finger, fully touch-friendly.
Game modes
Daily: a shared seeded dataset.
Practice: a fresh randomized dataset each round.
Tips & strategy
