Health drains continuously whether you fight or not, so food is the real currency and standing still is a slow death — which is also why a player who grabs the food another was walking toward is doing something worse than it looks. The monster generators matter more than the monsters: leave one running and the room refills faster than four players can clear it. Gauntlet rewards players who ignore the swarm and shoot the walls it is pouring out of.
