One button, one helicopter, one ever-tightening cave, hold to climb, let go to drop, and feather the gaps as long as you can.
Was this fun?
How to play
Your helicopter flies forward on its own; you only control lift. Hold to rise and release to fall, threading a wavy cave that narrows and speeds up the longer you survive. Touch the ceiling, the floor, or any jutting block and you crash. Collect green fuel cannisters to fill a small hover reserve you can spend to freeze your height for the tightest gaps, plus coins and a brief shield along the way. Distance is your score.
Hold to climb, release to fall, it's momentum, not teleporting, so feather it.
The cave tightens and you accelerate the deeper you go.
Spend rationed hover fuel to hold a steady height through narrow gaps.
Grab coins and the blue shield for brief invincibility.
Game modes
Daily: the same cave for everyone today, compare your distance.
Practice: a fresh randomized cave each run.
Controls
Desktop: hold Space / Up / W or click to rise; hold Shift or right-click to hover.
Phone & tablet: hold-touch anywhere to rise, release to fall; a second touch holds the hover stabilizer.
Tips & strategy
Tap in short pulses rather than long holds to keep a flat, controllable line.
Save hover fuel for the tightest pinch points instead of using it early.
Stay near the middle of each gap so a small misjudgement doesn't clip a wall.
Origins
Copter Cave is a nod to the one-button cave flyer that spread across the early web, hold to rise, release to fall, and feather a craft through a narrowing cave for as long as your nerve holds. The essence of easy-to-learn, impossible-to-master.
