Clef Drift

Notes slide across the staff and you name each before it leaves the edge — except the clef keeps shifting underfoot.

How to play

Waves of notes drift right to left across a staff. Name the leftmost note by its letter before it exits. Between waves the clef changes — treble, bass or a movable C-clef whose position drifts — so the very same line becomes a different pitch and you must re-read.

• Watch the clef label; it tells you how to read the lines this wave
• A correct letter clears the note; a wrong guess or a note that exits costs a life
• Three lives, eight waves per round; speed and streaks raise your score

Controls

• Desktop: press the note letter (C D E F G A B), or click the letter pad
• Phone & tablet: tap the letter pad buttons

Game modes

• Difficulty: Easy, Medium or Hard
• Daily for a shared round, Practice for fresh ones

Tips & strategy

• Re-anchor on the clef the moment a new wave starts rather than trusting the previous reading
• Name the leftmost note first — it is closest to exiting and the only one that scores right now
