Place ramps and flip-flopping bits so a cascade of falling marbles outputs exactly the right left/right stream.
Was this fun?
How to play
Drop marbles through a grid you wire with ramps, bits, crossovers and interceptors. Each marble exits left (0) or right (1) of the divider; arrange your pieces so the output sequence on the scope matches the orange target waveform.
Click an empty cell to place the selected piece; click a piece to rotate a ramp or bit, or remove others
Bits flip every marble that passes, alternating exits, that is how you build counters
Run the marbles and match the target stream using as few pieces and as little time as possible
Controls
Desktop: pick a piece from the palette, click cells on the canvas to place/rotate/remove, then press Run marbles
Phone & tablet: tap the palette and tap cells on the board
Game modes
Practice: a numbered ladder of hand-built levels
Daily: a fresh 'Daily Signal' puzzle seeded from today's date
Tips & strategy
A single bit halves the stream, chain bits to count in binary
Use crossovers to route lanes past each other without merging marble paths
What you'll learn
Cascade Engine is a marble-machine take on digital logic and binary counting, making the building blocks of computers tangible.
