Plumb the bores and valve so every outlet hits its pressure and rate — narrow a pipe and you trade pressure for speed.

How to play

A source feeds a junction that splits to two outlets, each with its own pressure and flow-rate demand. Set each branch's bore diameter and outlet B's valve; the engine re-solves the network on every change. Narrowing a bore speeds the flow but drops its pressure, so you balance the competing outlets until both demands are met.

• Continuity: a narrower bore speeds the same flow up
• Bernoulli: faster flow means lower pressure
• Win when both outlets meet their pressure and rate

• Desktop: drag the bore and valve knobs to re-solve the plant live

Tips & strategy

• If an outlet needs more pressure, widen its bore rather than choking the other
• Use the valve to trim outlet B once the bores are roughly right
• Make small adjustments — the network reacts to every change at once
